Take part in our workshop to create comic book and Manga pages!
Apolline at the BDFIL Festival on Sunday 11 May in Lausanne!
The Maison de Quartier Sous-Gare will be buzzing with activity on Sunday 11 May: Apolline will be welcoming children aged 6 and over to a BDFIL comic and manga workshop, with no registration required. Around the big tables, white sheets of paper and coloured pencils will be waiting for eager little hands. Jade, Apolline's teacher, will greet each young participant with a warm smile that invites creativity.
The challenge of the day will be to imagine the continuation of an unfinished manga or comic strip. The children will plunge passionately into their drawings, each freely inventing the next part of the story - or creating their own universe. On the sheets, we can already imagine cosmic superheroes rubbing shoulders with a pink dragon. Jade will go from one child to the next, offering technical advice and personal encouragement.
Beyond the friendly competition - a few vouchers for lessons at Apolline's are at stake - it's the pride in creating that will light up the faces.
