Sébastien Wenk was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1994. His passion for music was evident from an early age, taking him on a rich and varied musical journey. Having mastered the piano since 2006 and the guitar since 2007, his instrument of choice, he has also acquired solid skills on the bass. His stage experience is remarkable, having performed in numerous concerts with a variety of bands, covering a range of styles including Rock, Pop, Indie and Blues, whether as a singer, bassist or guitarist.
As an active and creative member of the band "Époque Bleue" since 2019, he brings not only his talent as a composer, but also a deep understanding of the role and place of each instrument in a musical ensemble. His expertise in composing and constructing musical titles is a major asset for his students.
A qualified child educator, he excels at establishing meaningful human connections with his students, tailoring his lessons to meet their unique needs and desires. For young children in particular, he favours a playful and varied approach, moving away from the beaten track of traditional school teaching. Having studied music theory at the Ton sur Ton school, he also has a solid theoretical grounding, which is essential for teaching music theory and sharing the musical language that is so dear to him.
Our teacher doesn't just pass on theoretical and cultural knowledge of music; he emphasises the pleasure and sharing involved in learning this discipline, which for him is a real passion and a deep source of inspiration.
